Description:
TIMEVALUE function in Excel or Google Sheets is used to convert a time in the form of text to a serial number.
This is best used when you have separate cells / placeholders for Hours, Minutes, and Seconds.
It works even when you only have Hours and Minutes, it will return the HH:MM .
It is commonly used with concatenate function, left function, mid function, and right function.
Function Structure:
=TIMEVALUE(time_text)
Arguments
time_text – A date and/or time in a text format recognized by Excel.
