CashHeaven (cashheaven.blog) is an independently operated personal blog about money, spreadsheets, and software. It may earn revenue from advertisements and affiliate links. This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit or interact with the site.
1. Who operates CashHeaven?
CashHeaven is published by Jonas, the blog’s operator in Poland. For questions about this policy, your data, or how the site operates, contact forcashheaven@gmail.com. This is also the contact point for privacy requests.
2. What information is collected?
- Information you submit: an email address when you sign up for updates; your name, email address, message, and other details you choose to send by email or through a contact form; and comment details when you comment on an article.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, timestamps, and security or diagnostic data. The hosting service, WordPress, and Jetpack may collect these automatically.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session and functional cookies; where applicable, measurement, advertising, preference, and referral identifiers. The particular cookies depend on the features you use and the consent choices available to you.
You can read articles without subscribing. If you choose to contact us or subscribe, the information requested for that interaction is needed to respond or deliver the requested updates.
3. How and why is information used?
- Responding to messages: to communicate with people who contact CashHeaven and handle requests or enquiries (legitimate interests or steps related to a request).
- Email subscriptions: to send requested blog updates and manage subscriptions (consent; you can unsubscribe using the link in an email).
- Comments: to display, administer, moderate, and protect discussions on published articles (legitimate interests in operating the blog).
- Site operation and security: to deliver pages, prevent abuse and spam, troubleshoot problems, and protect the website (legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations).
- Statistics: to understand website usage through Jetpack’s statistics features and improve content and performance (legitimate interests where permitted; consent where required for optional tracking).
- Advertising and optional tracking: to display, measure, and, where consent is required, personalize advertising (consent for non-essential storage/access and related processing where required).
4. WordPress, Jetpack, and other providers
CashHeaven uses WordPress and Jetpack services provided by Automattic for site features, statistics, subscriptions, security, sharing, and advertising. Akismet may check comments and form submissions for spam. These services can process information such as IP addresses, browser details, comment content, subscriber email addresses, and interaction data, depending on the feature used.
See Automattic’s Privacy Notice for Visitors to Users’ Sites and Jetpack’s privacy information for provider-specific details. The site also includes Buy Me a Coffee functionality and may embed content from third-party websites; interacting with those features may involve their own data practices and privacy policies.
5. Advertising, cookies, and consent
CashHeaven displays advertisements through WordAds. Advertising providers may receive technical data (including IP address, device/browser information, page URL, and advertising identifiers), use cookies or similar technologies, and measure impressions or clicks. Some partners may use this information for personalized advertising where permitted by law and your consent choices.
The site’s WordAds privacy-consent feature is enabled for applicable visitors. You can use the choices presented by the consent interface where available. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, although this may affect certain features. Necessary cookies may still be used to operate and secure the site. For questions about consent or privacy choices, email forcashheaven@gmail.com.
6. Affiliate links and external websites
Some pages contain referral or affiliate links. If you follow one, the destination provider may record the referral, use cookies or other identifiers, and process your data under its own terms. CashHeaven may earn a commission on qualifying transactions. Read our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not control the privacy practices of external websites.
7. Who receives information, and international transfers
Relevant information may be handled by hosting and security providers, Automattic/Jetpack/Akismet, email-subscription services, advertising networks, and services you choose to open through a link or embedded feature. Some providers operate outside Poland or the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data-protection law requires safeguards for such transfers, the relevant provider and site operator must rely on an applicable legal mechanism. Contact us if you need more information about a particular transfer.
8. How long is information kept?
Subscription information is kept while you remain subscribed and as needed to administer a withdrawal or meet applicable obligations. Messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep records relevant to the enquiry, or comply with legal duties. Comments may remain visible while the associated article and discussion are maintained, unless removed under applicable rules. Technical, security, advertising, and statistics records follow the applicable provider’s retention rules. For example, Automattic describes typical visitor log retention of approximately 30 days; advertising identifiers may have different retention periods. We review and delete information when it is no longer needed for its purpose.
9. Your privacy rights
If the GDPR applies to your information, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or obtain a portable copy of your data, and to object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. To make a request, email forcashheaven@gmail.com. We may need reasonable information to verify the request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data-protection authority, UODO, or another competent supervisory authority.
10. Children and changes to this policy
CashHeaven is intended for a general audience and does not intentionally invite children to provide personal information. This policy may be updated as website services, providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top will be revised when changes are made.
