Function Type: Compatibility

Description:

Returns the one-tailed probability of the chi-squared distribution. In Excel 2007, this is a Statistical function.

Function Structure:

=CHIDIST(x, deg_freedom).

Argument Breakdown:

x – The value at which the chi-square distribution is to be evaluated (must be ≥ 0).

deg_freedom – The number of degrees of freedom (must be an integer between 1 and 10¹⁰). If the supplied deg_freedom is a decimal, this is truncated into an integer.
